Kia Tasman Scheduled Servicing

Like other Kia models in Australia, the Tasman will be covered by a 7-year warranty and an optional capped-price servicing program. The schedule follows the brand’s standard servicing interval of 15,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first. There is also a complimentary initial service at 3,000 km to ensure your new vehicle is running smoothly.

Below is a breakdown of the indicative service costs across the first seven years or 105,000 km:

Service Interval (whichever occurs first)Estimated Price (AUD)
3,000 kmFREE
1 Year or 15,000 km$386.00
2 Years or 30,000 km$682.00
3 Years or 45,000 km$480.00
4 Years or 60,000 km$869.00
5 Years or 75,000 km$434.00
6 Years or 90,000 km$845.00
7 Years or 105,000 km$461.00

These estimated costs are in line with what buyers have come to expect from Kia’s larger vehicles with the same 2.2L diesel engine, such as the Carnival and Sorento, indicating the Tasman is aimed at keeping ongoing expenses competitive with rivals like the Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux, and Isuzu D-Max.

After the initial service, you are able to service your Tasman with any mechanic and still maintain your warranty. The only requirements are that the service is logged, and genuine parts are used.

Once the capped pricing servicing costs are officially released, we will update this article.
