How much does the Kia Tasman cost?

The Kia Tasman is ready to join the mid-size pickup market with its blend of rugged capability and modern versatility. With a range of trims and potential engine options, it is expected to cater to a variety of needs, from entry-level workhorses to premium, high-performance models.

In Korea, the Tasman is available in four trims, starting with the Dynamic at 37.5 million won ($41,033), followed by the Adventure at 41.1 million won ($44,971). In Australia, the dual-cab 4WD will come in five trims.

While initial reception has been mixed, price remains the most critical factor for many potential buyers. Although official pricing is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, we can make some educated predictions. Of course, we will update this article as we learn more.

Kia faces tough competition in this space, with an influx of affordable Chinese pickups like the stylish JAC T9 and the (AUD$60k) Shark 6 EREV, the next-generation Toyota Hilux on the horizon, and mid-lifecycle upgrades from Ford, including the 4.5 towing Ranger Super Duty and PHEV Stormtrak. This is good news for consumers as Kia may need to price the Tasman lower than expected.
